LIVING SACRIFICE

TEXT: - Romans 12:1-2

INTRODUCTION:
Sacrifice is anything offered or giving willingly, it struggles and then dies. God wants us to offer our lives (still living) willingly on the alter. Sacrifice requires fire, and so wood and fuel has to be gathered. Proverb 26:20a. As the fire burns out matters and materials, energy is released. A sacrifice must be holy acceptable unto God before it can make sense to God.
There is a pattern God has ordered your life to take and the world has its own systems and God is saying we shouldn’t allow ourselves to be compressed / squeezed to the pattern of this world. When you conform to the image of the world, you become wrinkled and Christ is coming for a church without spot or wrinkle and Christ is coming for a church without spot or wrinkle.
It is a matter of consecration that will bring a man to a point of “Don’t” (never be enticing). You have to stay under the fire of God and let Him mould you from within.
If a man refuses to present himself as a living sacrifice, such a person is not into spiritual worship, reasonable and intelligent service.
